海外旅行の最初の関門は空港です。チェックインカウンターでスタッフに何か質問されて固まる、入国審査で滞在目的を聞かれてうまく答えられない……そんな経験はありませんか？

空港で使うフレーズは実は 同じパターンの繰り返し。今日はチェックイン → 保安検査 → 入国審査 → 荷物受取の流れに沿って、必須フレーズ10個と聞き取れない時の切り返しまでまとめて学びましょう。

🎯 ゴール会話②（自然版：入国審査までフル）

Officer: What's the purpose of your visit? You: Sightseeing. Officer: How long will you stay? You: For one week. Officer: Where will you be staying? You: At the Hilton in downtown. Officer: Have you been here before? You: No, this is my first time. Officer: Welcome. Enjoy your stay. You: Thank you.

🧩 今日の重要フレーズ（10個）

1) Here you are. / Here it is.

意味：はい、どうぞ。
ポイント：パスポート・チケットを渡す時の鉄板フレーズ

2) Window or aisle seat?

意味：窓側・通路側どちらにしますか？
ポイント：window（窓側）/ aisle（通路側／読み方は「アイル」）

3) Any check-in baggage?

意味：預ける荷物はありますか？
ポイント：機内持ち込みは carry-on、預ける荷物は check-in baggage

4) What's the purpose of your visit?

意味：訪問の目的は何ですか？
ポイント：定番の答えは Sightseeing（観光）、Business（仕事）、Visiting family（家族訪問）

5) How long will you stay?

意味：どのくらい滞在しますか？
ポイント：答えは For + 期間（For one week / For 5 days）

6) Where will you be staying?

意味：どこに滞在しますか？
ポイント：答えは At the + ホテル名（At the Hilton）

7) Have you been here before?

意味：以前にここに来たことがありますか？
ポイント：初めてなら No, this is my first time.

8) Could you say that again, please?

意味：もう一度言っていただけますか？
ポイント：聞き取れなかった時の 最重要フレーズ。空港でも使える

9) I'd like to declare ~.

意味：〜を申告したいです。
ポイント：税関で申告物がある時。なければ Nothing to declare.

10) Where is the baggage claim?

意味：手荷物受取所はどこですか？
ポイント：baggage claim = 手荷物受取所

❌ よくあるミス

❌ I'm sightseeing. → ✅ Sightseeing. または For sightseeing.

入国審査で目的を聞かれた時は 名詞一語 でOK。フルセンテンスにする必要なし。

❌ One week.（前置詞抜け） → ✅ For one week.

「期間」は前置詞 for を入れるのが自然。

❌ Speak slowly? → ✅ Could you speak more slowly, please?

命令形は失礼に聞こえる。Could you ~ , please? で丁寧に。
