サラ: Five thousand yen. Guess what that bought me on Saturday. （日本語訳: 5000円。土曜日に何を買ったと思う？）

Marc: Dinner for two, somewhere decent. （日本語訳: 二人分のディナー。どこかいいお店で。）

サラ: Not dinner. That is what I paid to get my own bicycle back. （日本語訳: ディナーじゃないわよ。自転車を取り戻すために払ったお金。）

Marc: Oh no. The ward got you. （日本語訳: ああ、それは大変だったね。ついに捕まったか。）

サラ: The ward got me. （日本語訳: 捕まっちゃった。）

Marc: I have paid that fee twice in five years. Two bicycles, two afternoons I am not getting back. （日本語訳: 俺も5年で2回払ったよ。自転車2台、返ってこない午後2回分。）
